Cookies

Cookies are small data or text files placed on your local computer by websites and applications. Such cookies can serve various purposes: there are technical cookies (for example, for keeping language settings), session cookies (temporary cookies that expire after one session), and tracking cookies (cookies that track and monitor your behavior on the internet in order to offer you a more optimal user experience).

The Belgian Law on Electronic Communications of June 13, 2005, contains provisions regarding cookies and their use on websites. The law is a transposition of the European e-Privacy Directive, which means that cookie legislation may be implemented differently in other European member states. Wolk is based in Belgium and therefore follows Belgian legislation regarding cookies.

Purpose and benefit of cookies
By using the platform/website, the visitor agrees to the use of cookies. Cookies help Wolk optimize your visit to the platform/website, remember technical choices (for example, language choice, a newsletter, etc.), and show you more relevant services and offers. If you prefer not to use cookies, you are free to disable them by adjusting your browser settings ("Management of cookies"). Without enabled cookies, Wolk cannot guarantee smooth visits to the platform/website.

Google Ads
We use Google Ads, which allows us to advertise our website in Google search results and on third-party websites. To do this, Google places a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically uses a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you have visited to enable interest-based advertising. More information about advertising and Google can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Facebook Pixel
We use the "Facebook pixel" from Facebook. This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been redirected to Wolk's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us. We use pixel data to ensure that ads are shown to the right people and to build an advertising audience. Visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ if you want to disable Facebook cookies in your browser.

Please read our privacy policy carefully for more information on the processing of personal data by Wolk.
